Investment Team Careers
Panamint Capital’s Investment team defines and executes the firm’s investment strategy. We are responsible for originating, analyzing and closing acquisitions, as well as ongoing commercial management and commodity marketing for the assets we acquire. The Investment team manages the firm’s energy market and regulatory analysis and works closely with Panamint’s investors, lenders and commodity marketing counterparties.

Key Qualifications:

Energy- or infrastructure-related experience in private equity, principal investing, credit, investment banking or commodity marketing and trading;

Robust quantitative experience including financial modeling, real asset and commodity valuation, market analytics, and database development and management;

Background or experience with commodity trading and marketing, contract origination and/or commodity market analysis;

Technical experience with conventional and/or renewable power generation a plus;

Demonstrated success in a dynamic, flat work environment requiring precise quantitative and qualitative communication and presentation skills;

Drive to make and defend investment theses and to create, manage and complete independent projects that create value for the firm and our investments;

Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university; graduate degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
