Asset Management Team Careers

Panamint Capital’s Asset Management team manages our operating portfolio of conventional and renewable power and energy storage assets. We are responsible for the financial success of the assets and own the P&L, budgeting, accounting, tax and reporting functions. Plant staff, operations & maintenance and financial services providers report directly to the Asset Management team, who serve as the primary point of contact between Panamint’s management and investors and the operating facilities. The Asset Management team is also responsible for asset performance and optimization, including sponsoring and executing new capex and performance enhancement programs. We also work closely with the Investment team to support due diligence and manage the onboarding of new acquisitions and the Development team to support construction management, commissioning and handover at the start of commercial operations.

Key Qualifications:

Direct experience managing a portfolio of operating power stations at an independent power producer, energy investment or credit fund, utility or energy marketing firm;

Direct experience with financial planning and management of operating power stations, including working closely with plant staff and vendors on annual budgeting and budget performance, preparing and presenting monthly/quarterly/annual reports, and overseeing the preparation of financial statements and tax filings;

Direct experience producing monthly, quarterly and annual financial and operating reports, supporting annual audits and tax filings and managing AP/AR and cash positions and reconciliations;

Demonstrated track record managing operational and technical programs, including planned and unplanned outages, capex projects, performance monitoring and asset optimization;

Background in managing compliance with operating permits and licenses, including local, state and federal regulations and ISO/RTO/NERC requirements;

Contract management experience, including reporting, enforcing and amending or renegotiating major project contracts.

Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university; graduate degree in a relevant discpline preferred.
